A new training cycle begins…

Starting this Monday, we embark on our next training cycle!

In the previous cycle, our main focus was on enhancing our squat patterns, and the results were impressive - some of you achieved personal bests with a 5kg or more improvement! Now, we’re going to harness that newfound strength and apply it to more specific weightlifting exercises.

Specifically, we’ve touched on clean and snatches in the past, and this cycle, we’re diving deep into the clean. There are two key components we’ll be working on: a 1RM Clean test and a 5-minute AMRAP of squat cleans at your body weight. Both of these challenges will take place this upcoming Wednesday.

When it comes to squatting, our goal is to maintain the gains we’ve made, so we’ll incorporate it into our training as needed.

In the gymnastics realm, we previously focused on toes to bar. Now, it’s time to shift our attention to chest to bar pull-ups, a crucial movement in CrossFit for upper body pulling strength. We’re going to put this to the test in a workout scenario where you’ll face 30 chest to bar pull-ups after some barbell work. If chest to bar pull-ups are still a work in progress for you, we’ll focusing on pull-ups instead.

Throughout the week, our programming will include plenty of couplets and triplets, with the occasional longer and shorter workouts mixed in to continually improve our overall fitness capacity!

Enjoy it team!
